I guess I am biased because I DO Believe in a higher (than us) power. God. More personally yet...Christ. Never mind it took me 20 years of research to understand why I would, but still, it happened. How and when it exactly happened is a mystery, but I have been aware of the transformation along the way. And to understand why and how it happens to people in general is a fascinating study in and of itself.
My journey to the truth came by way of Evolution ironically. I really believed in Evolution. For crying out loud, who can't remember that ruse of a poster that your school teacher had taped up in class? You know, the one that began with a chimpanzee on all fours and eventually morphed into a business man with a briefcase. Well the briefcase part I added, but since we're being silly I thought, why not. Anyway, this doctrine or "theory" was embedded in my mind from a young age, and ended up being rather hard to dispose of. I grew up pondering Millions and Billions of years, and being a rather arrogant little cuss, I distinctly remember the day I learned the word...TRILLION!! I was fascinated by these numbers. They were unthinkable.
In fact at the same time, around age 10 or so, I also became fascinated with The Guinness Book of World Records. I was always reading about Robert Wadlow, the world's tallest man at around 9 feet tall, and the world's heaviest man, and so on. So, my young impressionable mind was absorbing all kinds of worldly wonders, just like the kids of today. Kids today are still fascinated by the same things; the idea of millions and billions of years, and really tall and really big people.

This is why it comes as no surprise that evolution, and all of its mind warping assertions, can have a dramatic effect on impressionable minds. Minds that can NEVER comprehend in order to challenge the numbers and scenarios offered up. Minds like mine, that just so happened to gravitate towards the ever growing possibility of something more. Taller people. Heavier People. Millions of years. Billions of years. And why not.............Trillions of years.
So from a practical application side, Creation Triumphant over Evolution, I want to get into some of the really simple ideas that I believe affirm my position (as if there is any other position) and make a lot of sense. Things I am sure you will find quite intriguing. Things that will also make you question how Evolution ever got to the point its at now, before dying on the vine if you will, which completely fascinates me.....and should you to.
I have to run for now, an evolution believer friend of mine needs me to pick up his uncle from the zoo and take him to the tailors.........said he needs a new suit and a Glock! Sounds like somethings figuring to go down.
